Moving Forward - Outside Assembly

The last 2 years have been like no other. Surya and I have spent time as a family really questioning our beliefs and our purpose. Objects and homewares have honestly not been at the forefront of our minds. The pandemic has driven home what's important to us, which is good food, health, family, nature and time. 

We have decided to close the shop and spend our time with family and on projects which feel more fulfilling

Surya has decided to focus on his core skill and passion, putting to use his years of experience as an industrial designer to help companies develop innovative solutions that enhance the places where people come together - the built environment. This year he launched outsideassembly.

Outside Assembly are a collaborate industrial design studio focused on delivering a shared vision for the built environment. They specialise in urban public art,  furniture and objects that are accessible, equitable, environmentally conscious and Australian made.
